Typography is one my interests helping me to combine the beautiful Iranian art with modern design. Today design of letters or typography has developed the visual possibilities and has functioned parallel with imagery. One of the qualities that makes current Iranian graphic design unique is its typography. The country has a rich history of visual arts and moreover the better part of this heritage consists of calligraphy. In fall 2018 a poster exhibition by Iranian graphic designers called “Khata” was held in Momayez Gallery in Tehran that focused on Iranian calligraphy. I was proud to design the exhibition poster.
