ISFAHAN IS HALF OF THE WORLD
PHOTOGRAPHY
Isfahan is a historical city of Iran. Isfahan is famous for its Perso–Islamic architecture, grand boulevards, covered bridges, palaces, tiled mosques, and minarets. Isfahan also has many historical buildings, monuments, paintings and artifacts. The fame of Isfahan led to the Persian pun and proverb: Esfahan is half (of) the world. The Naghsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan is one of the largest city squares in the world. UNESCO has designated it a World Heritage Site. I decided to go to Esfahan in spring 2019 for taking some photos, enjoying the brick alleys and wooden doors, and do sightseeing in every corner of this old city.
